Hurst has always offered high quality and styling on their shifter. The Hurst Billet 2 Shifter is made of CNC machined 6061 T-6 billet aluminum and provides a 37% reduction in throws providing smooth and faster gear changes. The shifter drastically improves the overall driving experience, pleasure and additionally removes the push down reverse lock out.

Overview

The heart of the Paxton Supercharger kit is a NOVI 2200 gear-driven centrifugal supercharger to an integrated air/air charge cooler. Complete systems and tuner kits are available. Roush has announced axle-back exhaust systems for 2011 V6 Mustang’s. Roush has modified it’s new open-chambered design 2011 5.0 axle-back system to now be compatible with 2011 V6 Mustang’s.

Roush performance is now offering the Roushcharger for the 2010 Ford Mustang GT. The Roushcharger is the same supercharger found in 2010 Roush 427R Mustang’s. The Roushcharger produces 435 horsepower and 400 ft-lbs of torque, while maintaining your vehicles 3 year/36,000 mile drive-train warranty.

The Roushcharger kit consists of a Roush M90 roots supercharger, intake manifold, air to water intercooler system, cold air intake system, 73mm supercharger pulley (producing 5-6 psi), and high performance fuel injectors. The Roushcharger also uses a Roush PCM cailbration which requires owner’s to overnight their PCM to Roush for required calibration (free of charge).

VMP Tuning’s Roushcharger upgrades for 2010 Mustang GT

If you want to add more power to the Roushcharger in your 2010 Roush 427r or 2010 Mustang GT, VMP Tuning offers a 500 horsepower upgrade package for $645. It should be noted that adding this package will void your powertrain warranty that the stock Roushcharger maintained.

The package includes a custom tuned SCT tuner, 2.55″ pulley (increases boost 2-3 psi), and a 90mm idler pulley. Previous 05-09 Roushcharger owners often replaced the cold air intake to tap more power from the engine, however VMP Tuning says that the 2010 Mustang GT Roushcharger’s cold air intake is efficient to where it would prove non-beneficial to replace it.

VMP Tuning has made several dyno tests on 2010 Mustang GT’s in both automatic and manual trim (see dyno sheets for both transmissions below) and has found 50 to 70 horsepower gains producing 429 rear wheel horsepower. With an equated 17%  power loss through the drive-train, this equates to 500 horsepower at the crank.
