Steeda is now offering their well popular ‘Tri-Ax’ shifter short shifter for 2011 Mustang’s. The Tri-Ax shifter is made from billet aluminum, steel, and composite components. The shifter provides 20% shorter throws along with a more positive action especially on the 2nd to 3rd and 4th to 5th shifts. Steeda Autosports is now offering an aftermarket cold air induction system for the new 2011 Ford Mustang GT 5.0. The Steeda PowerFlo Cold Air intake system allows the 5.0 liter engine to breath more easily by drawing cooler and higher density air into the engine. The Steeda PowerFlo Cold Air Intake was designed by Steeda through CAD even before the the new 2011 Mustang GT 5.0 was actually released.
The Steeda PowerFlo Cold Air Intake utilizes the factory cold air feed that is ducted from the front bumper and is sealed against the side of the hood by a stainless steel heat shield to prevent hot air in and around the engine bay from being drawn into the engine. A billet aluminum velocity stack and high flow air filter ensures a clean, cool, and streamlined air flow is delivered to directly to the engine. The intake system also retains the factory sound tube and PCV tubes.
A performance tune is required by Steeda to get the most from the PowerFlow Cold Air Intake. Steeda claims to have achieved gains of 44 horsepower and 52 ft-lbs of torque when combined with an SCT hand held tuner and a custom tune. The added power is not just available at peak RPM’s, but over the entire power band of the 5.0. The results produce greatly improved throttle response, improved fuel consumption and large impressively noticeable power gains.

Everyone knows that underhood temperatures can get extremely hot, however with the functional vent with the Q-series hood, Steeda claims temperatures can be dropped to within ten degrees of the ambient outside temperature. Simply put, cooler air means better performance. Steeda is now offering a Front Splitter that is a quick and easily installed add on to the front of your Mustang. The splitter is designed as a direct bolt on to the factory lower front bumper. With the stock Mustang front bumper, air can flow underneath the car and at higher speeds can cause the front end of the car to lift. With the Steeda Front splitter, aerodynamics are improved by channeling airflow to the outside of the car instead of underneath. By sending air to the sides, it eliminates front end lift at higher speeds and therefore creates more downforce to create better front end grip. The splitter will also redirect better airflow into the factory lower grille sending cooler air over the radiator. The Steeda Front Splitter comes unpainted.
